🔶 Enemy models look much different on PTR

Here’s how it is now

Now here’s the PTR

Notice the difference?

(Hint: Look at the outlines, specifically the head)

interesting

it looks more hd/3d and gets rid of the outlines

potentially a bug?

The only difference I see is the removal of the outline and a more matte finish to the bots.

Isn’t that just your outline opacity setting set to low/none on PTR?

Can you have separate graphic settings for main client and ptr? You might have different settings on the PTR version

Well I also noticed a new setting called “SHOW FRIENDLY OUTLINES” under the Hero submenu.

thats been there for a while

this lets you see teammate outlines through walls instead of the chevrons

It’s not on live tho.

?

maybe it was moved from a seperate tab

can you screenshot live’s settings?

The option doesn’t seem to be working for me

I’m guessing it’s a new option that’s bugged, and has also affected the enemy outlines.

weird

what does it do when you turn it off?

or on or whatever

It was already off. When I tried turning it on, I got a warning saying “IT CAN HARM MY COMPUTERS SETTINGS”

Which made me even more curious.

Sidenote: Is it just me or do enemies look brighter during Infrasight?

you can select how visible the outlines are on the ptr.
you showed us a picture of the outlines being turned off, turn them on.

That was stated as a bug fix on the patch notes
