I can’t tell if I’m paranoid or not, but does anyone else notice when you buy a skin, enemies focus you more. I bought the Sojourn water warrior skin and my first 3 games I felt like I was a priority target lol. There’s also a rise in my own teammates crap talking telling me to refund the skin lmao. Maybe it’s cause they expect more out of me and need someone to blame. I’m decent and play around a masters level so I’m not always on top of my game. It’s lulzy receiving more stress when I just wanna flex my new skin and play the game.
I focus who ever is easy to hit because my aim usually sucks. Mercy standing next to a tank? I know you’re supposed to kill Mercy, but I know I’ll probably only land 10% of my shots. At least when I aim at the tank I can pad the meters and get a little ult charge.
Edit: I think this is how the average OW 2 player thinks too. I never get those laser-focused players on my team who focus healers first, much less picking people out because they have a pay 2 win skin 
It’s true. I actually stopped using the lifeguard mercy skin bc I was getting spawn camped and they literally said “change skin” even though you cant change it mid game.
