So you know in some games where there is 4 endorsement rank 3 and 2 endorsement rank 4 on the enemy team and you get put on a team with endorsement rank 1 or 2. Is that fair?
I want to know if this is thing that occurs often and how it impacts the game.
I don’t think it really effects the game at all. Has no bearing on how skilled the matchups are. Just how often they get the thumbs up from teammates which can decay and if someone doesn’t play that often or prefers to play arcade for most of their time (where a lot of the modes don’t include endorsements) it’s going to be lower.
And what about the people who throw games intentionally, most of those get ranked at 1 or 2. Endorsement was created with the intention of making players friendly and “better” but it really doesn’t work when everyone can just make a smurf if their main/side acc is reported and/or brought down to rank 1.
Bumping this topic because I’m super tired of my buddy and I getting matched with throwers/leavers in a solid 30% of our matches. If they’re not throwing then chances are they are toxic or aren’t in team chat at all.
It would be fantastic if we could be matched with others who have endorsement levels +/-1 of yours. I’d much rather be matched with highly endorsed players than to be matched with someone of similar SR who could be toxic/throwing.
People’s SR in and around Gold means absolutely nothing. That’s right; a person’s SR is nothing but indicator of how often they had a teammate screw them over. Unless a person has time to play 100 hours a season, it’s hard to climb when they constantly get matched with level 1’s and 2’s on their team.
