If nothing better, they should grant Battle Pass LEVELS, not 1k BP XP per EL for how rarely they come up.
Also, we should be able to endorse more than 2 people max now that you opened it to ally+team. Give us 4 endorsement options (and 4 more avoids, they are needed), but please keep the mystical endorsement amount required to stay at your current level the same.
In OW1 I only left games if groupmates required it, but in OW2 the matchmaker is so raw that I no longer have the constitution to play my off and lose 4 teamfights in a row, yet somehow imagine any benefit in staying. You suggested you made the MM better, but it’s still very stompy, especially on weekends (or after most people complete the BP).
There is very little incentive to keep playing if the game is gonna be like this.
Stop pushing people away with your decisions. We just want to play a fun game, and this one used to be one of the best.
In OW I had a very stable 3/4 endorsement level, but in OW2 it changes like crazy between 2/3, mostly because I leave Push (in the hero selection screen of QP, before anyone tries to cancel me).
So, for me, it really means nothing good. It feels like it’s another system to make us feel bad about ourselves as players for choosing what to play or how to enjoy the game.
I despise Push, but the devs “punish me” with low endorsement levels for not wanting to play it. Also, the game is extremely hard to win with the broken matchmaker, and usually more wins mean more endorsements, so for me it’s just a flawed system that doesn’t bring anything meaningful to the table.
I think this is really common. I was leaving most Colosseos in the setup, similarly to Horizon, but I don’t think you can do so without penalty anymore. I’m not sure why they expect us to just sit through getting stomped multiple times in a row, especially when you pull up the scoreboard and can (most of the time) clearly see what’s happening.
Valid. I never understood why they never offered opt-ins for maps. That way you can pick what you want to play and it could even have leniency where if you’re the only person in a lobby that opted out of a specific map, you very rarely have to play it. That way they could also see which maps people hate, and possibly work on adjusting them to make them better. Alternatively, if everyone in a lobby was cool with Horizon or Paris (or other 2cp), they could also see them once in a while as a nice surprise.
