So I was put into a game that was halfway through on Anubis about a day after receiving endorsement level 4, at the end of the match (which we lost) I then left (Shortly after seeing “Defeat” pop up). Upon returning to the main menu I have noticed that my endorsement level was reduced back to level 3. I did not leave before the match ended and was very confused about this. Please tell me if this is a bug or I did something wrong.
It seems that any kind of negative report will also decrease your level independent upon if it’s warranted or not.
I don’t believe I have been reported though, I haven’t said anything that could even be considered remotely offensive. And I haven’t even played comp yet.

same here just randomly dropped to level 2 and no reason for it to drop. I have never been actioned nor is there a reason to have been.
and its not like I lost 10, 20, or even 50 endorsements. I lost 250 total endorsements.

the same thing happened when i logged in today @ like 5p cst. no idea why?
Ok so I managed to get my lvl 4 endorsement back but guess what! I left during the showing of the play of the game, and it still counted as leaving the match early! I am pretty fed up with this as the match is clearly over and should not penalize players for leaving at that point.
Any report, whether actioned against you or not will/can lower your endorsement.
Got lvl 4 today, went offline for awhile, got back online, reduced to lvl 3.
Love this game so much, makes me want to keep playing for the incentives it doesn’t give for lvling/endorsements/good behaviour/etc.

This happened to me twice today, both times Temple of Anubis on defense and both backfilling. Twice I have been down from level 4 to level 3.
As previous posters have said it could be that the game was going so badly before I joined that everyone just submitted a report, however it seems strange that it happened twice under the same circumstances.

How did you get it back? Did you contact Blizzard or just got all of your endorsments back?
Not receiving endorsements from players for multiple matches can also decrease your endorsement level, maybe that is the case.
Might have been the case however there was no message saying that my endorsement lvl was reduced, it just was.
I have been promoted to Endorsement Level 4 this week like three times but every time I log back on, it’s dropped back to 3. I haven’t left matches early. I have said anything to be reported and I haven’t even lost that many matches. I’ve won more than I’ve lost. I don’t get this.
