Endorsement level 1 shouldn’t be allowed in comp

absolutely not, not everyone uses the endorsement system, so this would highly limit people from playing competitive if people just choose not to endorse people, and people can only endorse 3 people at a time so it’s not a guarantee that you yourself will be endorsed, so your idea will never happen

Blizzard would want to look at the endorsement system as a whole first – i.e. is it performing as expected in that highly endorsed people are ‘good players’ and conversely low endorsements implies a ‘bad player’ with some relatively high probability. But, provided this was done first to validate the system, I think it’s a good idea. We already have a level 25 requirement. I say do away with that and put an endorsement requirement instead.

I give all shotcaller endorsements to the 1st 3 people immediately from left to right. They dont mean anythinf.

I’ve logged into accounts I haven’t used in months (since before the endorsement system even existed) and as soon as I get on it says “your endorsement level has gone from 1 to 2”

I think level 1 is only brand new accounts or chat banned accounts

And why should you be allowed to decide who is allowed to play comp or not?

It’s as if I said “plat and lower shouldn’t be allowed to post of forums”.

You answer is LFG. Create a team, set the endorsement level at 2 or higher. This is the ONLY purpose endorsements serve in this game.

You are trying to build a team BEFORE queuing into a match for a competitive TEAM oriented game? Right?

Yeah, no. Enforsements mean nothing. I see trolls with 4 and great teammates with 1-2. There is no real correlation.

If you talk in team chat and make a positive contribution, you get endorsements. Heck, if you play the game with some frequency, you get endorsements.

It’s really not difficult to rank up to level 2 if you play the game at all. If you don’t play the game with some frequency, you shouldn’t be allowed in competitive play.

Sorry, but I don’t want people who aren’t at least occasionally playing the game in my comp games.
