ENDED - Issues logging onto OW. Blizzard investigating

Hey everyone, I am seeing the reports of players not able to log into North American servers at this time. I will do what I can to investigate and raise the issue with Blizzard CS but its late hours so it may be some time before I can get an answer.

UPDATE: I can confirm Blizzard CS is aware and is investigating. This appears to affect NA regions for World of Warcraft and Overwatch.

Update 2: Hey guys, as far as I know, this is still ongoing but unfortunately, I will not be able to actively track from here on as I need to get some sleep. Continue to check for updates from @BlizzardCS on Twitter.

Update 3: Woke up and check the reports, things sound like they are sorting out in the Americas region. There are some reports for Asia (Taiwan/Hong Kong/etc) not working yet though.

also having trouble here, swapped to beta blizzard launcher and that’s loading the news properly but game still won’t load.

Thanks for the update. I chugged a red bull ready to go hard and now I can’t login.

Man, I just got done playing a different game and wanted to hop on OW for a bit, guess not.

Just log into a different region. They are all connected anyway… worked for me

I was all up ons for some middle of the night action but oh well. that’s way you always have a backup game :smiley:

Some are able to log on, some are not, please be patient everyone and I do recommend avoiding Competitive Play as a precaution

not playing atm but yea i was thinking if i should come back to wow retail for a bit. still havnt got the vulpera and mecha-gnomes but i might just level again since i always just like leveling. or ill probably just wait till wotlk classic

anyways the lore of warcraft is so confusing …

Huh I’ve been playing for the last half hour no problems, weird.

EDIT: Seems I’m being put on lax1… usually on ord1. That explains the latency.

If you are already on, chances are you still stay on. Its logging on that is the problem.

Its impossible to give timeframes for these type of issues.
