End of Season games are so bad

I just won 2 games easily because the enemy team had throwers. Now I just lost a game because my team had a thrower. 3 games in a row decided by throwers.

Yep, that is end of season alright. It is why I stay away from comp at end of season.

I only ever play comp at the end of seasons and have pretty normal games……why would they be any different anyway?

End of season is when the clowns show up because who cares if you get banned from playing comp at the end?

Habitual throwers should be banned from touching comp ever again.

I also hope that in OW2 they remove the golden guns from being a reward for playing comp that way there’s no real reason to play that mode unless you are a person who enjoys a more competitive mode. It should’ve been that way from the beginning. Make golden guns obtainable a different way, and give no rewards for comp.

End of season is when all the casual show up, I try to avoid playing on the last week

Lets just say: people who still play OW comp for the “competitive experience” are as good as gone. Why?

  1. OW2 will be totally different so “training heroes” is pointless
  2. The OW comp system sucks
  3. People mostly want to farm gold guns
  4. Leavers and throwers decide to many games
  5. The game last balance update was 5 months ago
  6. The last update for the main game was 2 years ago

Who in the hell would still play comp realistically like it is intended? Dont expect ANYTHING to change. You can try again in OW2… whenever it comes out.

Yea, end of season + OW on sales are not a good combination.

In 7 out of 10 games I had super strong smurfs. Next time I played comp, there were many throwers (the kind of people who jump off the map), leavers and other players who were busy chatting during the game when their hero was alive and being shot at.

Never had comp games so bad…

Exactly this.
Legitimately tried in season 30. What point was there this season? Decided to not even bother. I’m waiting on ow2 so I can take Dmon into comp XD

Sometimes I’ll forgo a season entirely if I haven’t played it and start to get an itch for it on the last week. The last 3-5 days of a season in my experiences are almost always the worst.
