I only play this game to compete with friends and I can’t even do that because they are on console, and I am on PC. Please change this pointless feature or lose more players.

Bruddah, no. The average console player is at a massive disadvantage.
I could see a case for Iron-Silver ranks cross-play comp but beyond that, nah, don’t think so.

XIM adapter + aim assist = Undetectable aimbot. Wont ever happen. Thats in all honestly a major reason players don’t want this. Ive tried this on other games back when I was playing on consoles and it is very very much like cheating. EXTREMELY forgiving aim with track assist basically.

Ummm… No console players would smoke lower ranks and pc players would smoke diamond and above. Pls go read up on why console and pc rarely ever compete together.

Apex Legends ranked has been in shambles over having crossplay between PC and Console. I think it’d be best for everyone if they stay separated.
They did some tournaments recently with equal ranked PC players playing against equal ranked console players. The console players got to retain aim assist during the event. They did this at every single elo. Every game, console lost and pc players won. PC players were just better which would result in console players getting even less SR even with Aim assist. What would happen is a boost to aim assist and would result in the same thing that happened to Halo. PC players quitting because it feels like you are just playing against cheaters.
On the plus side console doesn’t have aimbotters or wall hacks. I don’t want to be with PC pool for that reason.

Do you mean SVBs? Yes PC won, until he put Diamond against Diamond, then PC lost by a landslide. Because at Diamond and above you start seeing Ximers on console, players using keyboard and mouse and with aim assist. The top500 would be full of console players using keyboard and mouse and aim assist, you don’t want that. That’s pretty much what happened to Apex.

No thank you! I don’t want to play against PC and all it cheats that can ruin console. Plus the fairness when it comes to PC performance and console are totally different. I would love more FPS like PC.
I think you can change to 120 FPS in settings on Xbox series X and PS5 or do you mean even higher?

No XIM (or other aides) = PC has a natural advantage (disregarding individual skill)
With XIM (or other Aides) = Console has a strong advantage

I don’t think it’s a strong advantage with a XIM. It’s an advantage, but it’s not as great as you think. I’ve tried one out before on console… I personally didn’t like it. Lots of latency between the mouse and on-screen changes. Mouse doesn’t flick right as it moves at the same rate as a controller. It def will screw up your mouse aim. Also, OW2 certainly benefits more than OW1 when it comes to mechanics, but it’s still an ability / team based game so slightly better aim isn’t a huge advantage in my opinion. Now, full on Aimbot, that’s a pretty big advantage.
No. Go buy a console.

I think it should be an option. My group mostly plays on PC but i have a console and i would love to play comp knowing im at a disadvantage, im ok with that. And for people saying the casual console players will struggle thats what the casual mode is for. Or if they still want to play comp they can disable the cross play option so they can play console only. If they choose to play cross they know theyre going to o against better players and have to accept that.

There is the choice in apex. just as it should be in here. I play cross on apex too and still compete pretty well but ik its theyre are always goin gto be people better than me on PC and it is what it is.
