It’s inconsistent that it it doesn’t destroy it, but also(at least pre tree buff) it made an already lackluster ult even worse. They could probably keep the healing buffs they gave the tree, take off the overhealing buff, and then it’s totally okay that emp doesn’t destroy it.

Tree is a really good ult now. When it wasn’t EMP destroying it was overkill, now tree lacks enough counterplay imo

Between its healing, overhealth & LOS blocking it does a lot

I mean, you could shoot the tree, it only has a thousand something health. In my recent experience playing the damage role a lot more I’ve noticed that people just don’t do that even though 2 or 3 people shooting would have it down in just a couple seconds.

1200 health is a lot. That’s more than Bob and it can’t be crit

Without multiple heroes focusing it it stays up for 10+ seconds

Yeah it’s a lot, but also most characters deal between 120 to 180 damage a second, so focus fire wipes it out fast. You ever seen a Winston just evaporate/be forced to retreat just a second or two after ulting? He gets 1600 effective health if using it right

I’ve found at the time being that Torbjorns molten core is a great counter to tree currently since you can zone lifeweaver and his team away from the area around it.

They only changed it, while making it now inconsistent, in order to further buff the hero.

If two Sombras ult at the same time, it should shut down the server.

It’s biolight. Not a machine. It’s a deployable, organic thing.
Icewall also doesn’t get destroyed or disabled by EMP.

Nope, Syms uses hardlight for everything, LW uses biolight, which he created and talks about in some of his voicelines
