I still try to force her to work, but it really just doesn’t. I want to be able to feel like I am not throwing the match by picking her. Despite only light playtime on her since Sigma’s release, she is still by far my favorite tank. Every time I try to play her I get forced to swap because she just feeds too hard, and can’t get nearly as much done as Rein/Zarya/Sigma. She used to be such a versatile hero that could be played with any main tank, but now she just feeds way too hard for what little value she does bring.
Just last night had a game where we were attacking on Volskaya. Couldn’t get anything done as Winston/D.Va despite getting the first pick every fight, so in the last minute we reset out ults, swapped Rein/Zarya and just steamrolled both points.
Blizzard lucked out having such a phenomenally popular hero in an unpopular role. Blizzard shouldn’t let one of their most popular heroes become a OWL only hero, there are not nearly enough heroes to just accept some are going to be only good on stage.
