I haven’t been actually outwardly complaining about Mercy, but my issue with the changes isn’t that I believe she’s lower tier, or not meta, or bad now, or nerfed too hard, or anything like that. It’s just that I really enjoyed her movement and now I can’t play that way anymore. I’d be fine if Mercy was worse so long as I got to still play with her fun movement. shrug

I’m happy that she can still excel with Mercy. That’s fantastic. But that doesn’t undermine the fact that Mercy is more clunky and less fun to play as, at least for me personally.
It’s like when the devs introduced cast time for res. I was able to adapt and accept the change for what it was. But when I tried to convince my friend it wasn’t all bad, they weren’t buying it.
She understood the potential value was still there, but because of the way in which Mercy’s movement was impacted; she just couldn’t accept such a stifling change and dropped the hero.
This is pretty much a repeat situation, but with guardian angel. Some people will adapt, and others will move on if she stays this way.

General consensus I’ve seen is Mercy’s power level is massively buffed, but her fun level is massively nerfed.
People, myself included, are still going to complain when the character sucks to play, even if they’re better than before lol
