I have recreated the esper powers of Misaka Mikoto, seen in the anime A Certain Scientific Railgun. Her powers are classified as “Electromaster”, meaning she can control electricity and electromagnetic waves.
In this Workshop script, I have recreated 5 abilties Misaka uses in the anime, in the format of an Overwatch hero.
Abilties & Controls
Primary fire - Zapper
Press and hold the primary fire button to create a arc of electricty that will deal 110 dps to whoever it is zapping. 18 meters range. No reload or ammo count.
Secondary fire - Shocking bolt
Press the secondary fire button to wind up and release a bolt of electricty that will damage targets in its 3 meter radius for 50 damage and shock them for 5 seconds. The shock effect will slow the aim speed of a target by 90%.
Abiltiy 1 - Magnetize
Press and hold ability 1 to be quickly pulled towards the surface you are looking at. 30 meters range, top speed of 20 meters per second (speed is impacted by how you are moving, angle, and distance). You can kind of “grapple” with this ability making it very satisfying and fun to play with.
Ability 2 - Railgun
Press ability 2 to fire off a railgun shot that will pierce enemies in its path and deal 80 damage.
Ultimate - Thunderstrike
Press the ultimate key to create a reticle that follows your crosshair, press primary fire to set the location, and then press primary fire again to fire the Thunderstrike. A cloud will be created above the target location and shortly after a electric bolt will strike the ground and create an explosion. The explosion has 2 areas of damage, a 5 meter and 10 meter one, players in the 5 meter one will take 450 damage and in the 10 meter one will take 150 damage. All players affected by the bolt will be shocked for 3 seconds and slowed by 50% for 3 seconds.
Notes
Only the host player can use the abilties. The character the host choses doesn’t matter, but I reccomend D.va, as she is the closest match to Misaka Mikoto. If you want to use a different character, you must disable all their abilties, including primary and secondary fire and their ultimate for it to function properly.
It is not possible for 2 players to use the abilties, and if you changed the script to make it possible it would most definitely not work properly and could also easily shutdown the server.
