Yeah, this happened. They edited Eichenwalde so you can’t shoot through the doorway anymore. You used to be able to sit at the bottom of the stairs and shoot through to the pathway leading up to the bridge.
Of course, they word it like it wasn’t intentional for nearly a decade. “Fixed an old pesky sightline through a door near the first chokepoint.” Way to go carebears! It was so simple to evade, but hey, gotta cater to the lowest common denominator here in Overwatch.
