Just an idea: Echo virtual Idol like Hatsune Miku. for those unfamiliar with it, She is a virtual japanese voice of a vocal synthesizer (Vocaloid) which became famous thanks to its anime-style design.
the tails of her hair could be her wings. it would be very relevant to the “simulation” concept.
