Echo needs a buff

With her beam length reduction she went from being viable to completely redundant.

My changes are simple

Either semi revert beam length from 16m to 18m (It was 20m)

Or reduce its cooldown to 7 seconds (from 8 secs)

Neither of these would change much, just saying. The beam nerf didn’t butcher her or anything.

No she doesn’t. You need to learn how to play her.

I have a 66% winrate on her and I’ve been playing her almost exclusively.

Is she really weak? I remember pros destroying with her on release but then she just…died.

Lol :joy: I’m not asking for out ragous changes chill my dude. I play her too but there’s just better characters in most situations.

The fact that she is so fun to play and still has low pick rates and win rates is indicative that either the meta is very bad for her or she is slightly undertuned

And Just cause you feel the character is fine doesn’t exactly make it so
For 1 u play on console where pharah has been notorious for being very strong
2 idk your sr
3 idk if you get hard pocket from mercy
4idk if u play her 24/7 on both her good and bad maps Or if u just pick her on her optimal maps

No she does not. Do people actually think the beam range did anything to her at all?

Nah not really super weak that’s why I’m just asking for a slight change… not even a full revert of the nerf she got as her beam was slightly oppressive.
She basically went from a 54 percent win rate to 48/49 percent
So we kinda want to put her to 50/51 percent win rate so it just makes sense to do a half revert

And the beam length reduction just basically made it 20% less effective. Whilst also putting you at greater risk to get its affect
But 20m was slightly oppressive with her mobility that’s why I’m asking for half revert

Idk why blizzard didn’t just nerf it by 2m to begin with because literally after that nerf she went from good to bad/meh

Or they could go the other route and give sticky’s a buff but make them so they can’t be damage boosted

Kinda like hanzos ult
But that’d be weird to do and maybe hinder her in some situations

I think her Primary Fire needs a buff more than anything, preferably a spread buff. The tri spread makes it very hard to land a shot outside a 20 meter range.

Did u play her much before pre nerf
Or even play the game at all
She was picked a lot even with ashe being at her peek
She was almost meta
And after that nerf it was small but somehow made her fall from grace to even below average

So it just makes sense to half revert it
As it basically will improve her win rate by 1/2 percent which is alll she needs

And if they are stubborn about that they can lower the cooldown by 1 second which actually isn’t as impactful tbh but will probably increase win rate by .5/1 percent which is enough for people to pick her more

18m Beam sounds cool to me.

True true but I think that’s the design of the character.
I.e her sticky’s also having a relatively low travel speed

I think they want her to dive in to get kills
And i think her beam was the thing in her kit that kept her from always having to get close to kill a target.
But they nerfed it’s range so she has to get close

I do agree though she needs something that helps her from a distance other than just being damage boosted by a mercy and getting a off angle sticky on a squishy

Thing is… this would only made her stronger against tanks who allready struggle against her… nothing elde

Projectiles speed can be improved a bit.

Tri-shot: 75 to 90 m/s || Spread: reduced by 15%
Sticky bombs: 50 to 70 m/s

This way you don’t touch her damages, she’s still fine.

Naw… people just dropped her en made because that’s what all players tend to do when a popular hero receives any kind of nerf.

It’s more popular (and easier!) to imitate than it is to innovate, so the echo players you see today are probably people who have stuck with the hero for awhile and adapted to the new changes.

Meanwhile, many other players have gotten better at Hitscan in the areas of tracking, target acquisition, and consistency of damage applied. Many players have started anticipafing Echo’s engagement strategies and are either consciously or subconsciously altering their gameplay to accommodate that.

It can feel tough to play echo when you’re out of practice.

It’s more risky to use it this way, as seen as how powerful it is…

Welll if they stick with her why is her winrate so bad compared to pharah which should be way easier to counter since she’s been out since beta?
So a character that’s been out for 5 years is harder to beat than a character that was just added and is rarely played???

You’d think that she’d have the sombra/ bastion effect Where if it’s a surprise pick (and of course picked in the right circumstances) some games they just win off of the swap cause teams don’t know how to deal with it cause the characters rarely played

Remove the ability to fly then we can talk.

Mmm I love m3th tooo

her beam still melting EVERYTHING with 50% of health is still weird. I think she´s okay

Why don’t they just reduce its max potential then whilst increasing range??
