Echo’s main ability is flying. You fly around from above to get shots u couldn’t on the ground because of a shield, or found up to a widow, or to run away, etc… but on console it is extremely hard to fly her is why. On mercy if ur falling and wanted to glide you can either use L2 or the X button. Everyone uses the L2 because it’s easier to press and X is only used by people who play in the claw position. Echo, however, cannot use the L2 button because it uses echos ability. So on console you can only fly for the duration of the ability then you instantly fall on the ground. Also direction of your flight is hard to control on console too because of the controls I hope blizzard doesn’t something about this.

put the glide on one of the 2 joysticks and press it down … PS do yourself a favour and buy a comp controller such us RAZER RAIJU with extra triggers
How do I make it the glide button without also making it the jump button because I still want to be able to jump using X
Bind L2 as secondary jump maybe?

echo isn’t useless, she’s pretty good against many on console. Just because you have some unique and original issue that no one has ever mentioned doesn’t mean she’s the most useless hero on console.

This post is just untrue, you can change your setting in so many ways that this doesn’t matter.
L2 jump, L3 beam, R1 stickies, it’s not that hard then just put X as interact.
