Am I the only one struggling against Echo on tank? I know she’s new but god she’s painful to deal with for me…and my supports not being able to do anything doesn’t help since then they don’t even heal me…idk i’m in pain

She’s a very good tank buster thanks to the sticky bombs and the increased beam damage at half health. At the moment, people are still learning to play around her, so that makes her seem even stronger, but her effectiveness against tanks is not likely to change.
It’s part of what’s so irritating about her DPS. Like, yes, it will increase DPS queue times even more plus less tanks will want to play against another tank buster, increasing queue times more lol

Yeah that’s what I think it is…and I tried playing the weaker tanks so she couldn’t get a good dupe from me but that doesn’t matter when she just melts me anyways 
Every damage hero makes tanking hell, let’s be real. Tanks are in terrible spots with the only viable tanks being Reinhardt and his sidekick Zarya.

Rein is worthless if they have Echo and Rein. you can’t out Rein two of them.

I tried but she can still melt him fast, plus the rest of the team finished me off, again she’s new, but so far i’m in pain
I think the best you can do as main tank is ignoring her and let your team deal with her.

I wouldn’t play tank vs Echo, she’s a really powerful counter to them.
He has about as much of a fair shot against Pharah…
She flies so she can pretty much always stay out of Winston’s effective range while peppering him. I haven’t played her much but it’s also pretty easy to sticky bomb him if his barrier and leap are on cooldown.

QP Classic and now Competive Classic let you swap to Widowmaker or Soldier 76. You could try Baptiste if you like supports.
Personally, I’m just gonna not play until things get better.

All everyone does on her is turn into a tank. Killed goats just for it to sneak it’s way back.
But yeah, this just killed any hope to get me back on tank. At least on support I know she wont bother turning into me usually.

Yeah I’ve only see tanks and ashe (really bob) getting copied
Another issue is she does a ton of damage if you can land her shots. For most targets that can be tricky by on tanks… and then there is her low HP dps. Its cranked up full charge Zarya on a cooldown.

She’s not even hard to aim with imo, it’s funny that people complained about Sigma’s primary…yet Echo who has better damage and way better range it’s all hush hush

The idea is more that the dome shield allows for Winston to get out of harm’s way more easily than other tanks when dueling an Echo or Pharah.
Plus…Winston has leap. Bait out or wait for the flight/rocket jump to go on CD, leap and M1 for a bit as you approach apex and while falling as long as you can, then shield to avoid damage. Winston is all about the harass.
