♦ Echo characters | Similar heroes

Imagine Overwatch, but with twice as many characters. Every hero has its doppelganger.

[If you don’t know what an “Echo character” is, it refers to Smash Bros. It’s a character that has similarities with another character, to make it short]

Now, what about we design echo heroes for fun ? I’ll start if an example :

:diamonds: Current Tracer, with a little less damage, and her 400 dmg Pulse bomb

:diamonds: Now Tracer, but with 200 HP, less spread, and 5 seconds Blink cooldown. (instead of 3) Her ultimate refills her Blinks, gives her 2 seconds cooldown on it, and double her ammo capacity, for 10 seconds


What heroes would you like to see another version of ? Be creative ! :blush:

Echo Zen.

Discord is replaced with a life drain orb. Healing/ Damage only happens with both orbs out, and the healing orb is on a damaged hero.

Ooooh this is actually really interesting, it looks a bit like Moira’s “give and take”, but it would be a direct transfer. Neat.
Also, would this Echo Zen be a Dark Zenyatta ?? I mean he’s not supposed to leech people if he’s a pacifist monk

Echo Wrecking Ball - Its a quinea pig in a Ball

Different Ability … hmm i dont know maybe if u hit someone whit Ball Mode its do burn damage ?

You mean, just an actual guinea pig ? No genetic modification ? Seems like he would have a hard time… :fearful:

Echo Sym would have Piercing Orbs, and her turrets leave a burn instead of a slow

Echo D.va would have 400/200 hp, lower dmg cannons and mm, and a longer duration DM

Hey, I thought about this one ! I think she shouldn’t be able to shoot while boosting tho, like old Dva
