Echo can't copy Echo because...?

Like yeah, I get it, it’s weird if you think about it for 0 seconds, but can some dev give us an actual reason she’s not allowed to use it?

How is copying Echo any more of a “waste” than copying any other character?

You’d be copying echo, which means you’d just be your normal hero except with an extra life and increased ult regen

infinite ults at that point

Think about it. Her Ultimate is the act of copying another hero’s ultimate. Copying an Echo would just use the ult to stay as Echo.

Unless you mean being able to copy the hero that she copied while the enemy Echo is ulting themselves. In which case it’s probably just a nightmare to code that.

So you’d use your ult, to copy yourself and get… all the abilities you already had.

If echo copied echo, it would be a waste of an ult because you’re literally just playing normally, with an extra life.

The problem i see is copy of echo that have ult that copy so it copy echo again to copy her ult and use it on echo to copy…
The code would just say “i give up man” i guessing.

Since you are already echo my guy.I mean it could be usefull to get an extra life kinda but still that would just make her ult more op

Because there’s bugs associated with copying Echo, probably. And it’s not necessary.

Wouldn’t it create a paradox? If you copy Echo who also has the ability to copy, wouldn’t it just end up with a never ending ult?
