Not enough people care about bots, for blizzard to care about bots, that’s why only the original launch heros (i think… if not then mostly them), were the only heros available as bots before OW2 & i was shocked to see they added new ones when OW2 came out.
they care so little about bots that i myself just decided to make my own back in OW1, i made a Universal AI for Assault mode that could play any hero. last year expanded it to other modes, updated its heros for OW2 since it was last updated in OW1 & also started making Individual codes for single heros. I’ve not made one for Echo because that would require all the AI’s so she’ll only be available in the Universal AI. I’ve also not made one of the other 2 yet, but i have made Individual AI for over half the heros.
(yesterday i also made one for Hazard)

though none of Universal AI have been updated since Mauga came out because i haven’t been on the workshop much in the last year.
anyway point of the rant, is blizzard don’t care, workshoppers make their own to account for their lack of caring.

But clearly that just isn’t true, because me, an amateur, using the workshop and its VERY LIMITED resources, was able to make a Universal AI. in just a few weeks with no help. like i had to make my own makeshift pathfinder & everything… so if blizzard cant do that, i’m reallying questioning blizzards skills… and sure, the Universal AI doesn’t cover the complex mechanics, but the Individual AI’s i’ve made do, that’s why they exist.
