Easiest way to exit overwatch

is with task manager.

End of a game is where I am most likely to want to exit, but there’s a “continue” button to press, and it won’t even let you press it for a couple seconds, and then there’s another button to press, and THEN you can start hitting escape a few times until you get an option to exit.

Or you can just end the task in the task manager.

Please fix this.

I just Alt + F4 when I wanna leave the game.

It is annoying that I try to press escape to return to the main menu after a match, but it just brings me backwards to the “medals” page.

This isn’t even to quit the game, it’s just to get into the next match. It feels counterintuitive to me.

You can spam through the end screens without it taking you back to the hero progression screen by spamming space, unlike when you use ESC

Oh Yes they totally made the menus and buttons at the end of the game terrible. And its not just on PC, they did the same thing for all consoles too. It all follows the same logic. It’s ridiculous, I don’t know who thought that was a good idea but they need to be fired, or a least a demotion or ill even take stern talking to.

Just rip out your power strip from wall, easiest game exit + computer shutdown, any % speedrun

Alt+F4 usually works at any time (ask me how I know)

not sure about task manager though. Blizzard’s software is so intrusive that it doesn’t let me kill the process if I attempt to do so.
