Pretend you teammates are AI. So you can’t control them.
Play for your own life and don’t trust the AI to bail you out.
The less you die the more out put you have. It’s quite simple.
All your deaths are your fault, can’t blame bad AI.
Sometimes your AI feeds 1 at a time
Sometimes they waste ults
Sometimes they are useless.
But I can’t blame the AI for that, I just need to make sure I’m outputting value to help my AI win and not making the same mistakes they do.
It’s worked wonders for me climbing.

I’d say the easiest way of climbing the ladder (and that was already true in Overwatch but it’s even more in OW2) is to duo queue 1 tank 1 support. That way you have both the frontline and the support and you don’t really need your team as much since you cover frontline, damage, healing and utility.
If that works for you that’s fine
I’ve treated my teammates like AI and I’m almost out of plat now
I’m my own carry if I want to climb
All three but DPS is lagging behind a bit because my mechanical skill is lower than gamesense etc

On a similar note, when I stopped playing with chat enabled I climbed more than I ever have. Not getting caught up in other people’s tilt, flaming or scapegoating and focusing on my own gameplay really worked wonders.

Which is why I treat them like AI
They just angry AI now
Every role can carry.
Healer being the hardest to carry as a solo queue in my experience because you NEED to DPS as a healer to start carrying

This or just pick Mei. She counters everyone and everyone runs in fear.
Soldier.
He’s the true S tier right now for DPS in my experience
Always assume the loss was your fault. You can’t control your team, you can only control your gameplay. There is always something you did wrong in any game. Be intentionally self-critical and focus on correcting your mistakes.
Blaming teammates just makes you feel better, it doesn’t actually help anything.
Correct
That’s why my teammates are AI
