I’ve been playing Overwatch since it was in beta and at this point have amassed 1682 loot boxes.
Individually opening these up would take…I’m not sure but a realllyyy long time.
Can we get a mass open button or something for loot boxes?
Just leave them, when OW1 updates to OW2, the game will automatically open them for you.

So I saved 100 lootboxes one Christmas event. It’s not worth it… It takes so freakin long to open it up.
Does holding down space bar work? If so, you could put something on the key maybe.

Ya the spacebar trick is your best bet, if you want to open them now.
Just go to the lootbox page and put something heavy on your spacebar and it’ll open them up. Altho I believe it doesn’t skip to the next category so if you’re opening summer games boxes and run out it won’t skip to halloween boxes. You gotta do that manually
It does work….I’ve paperweighted it before….though depending on how many you have it can take quite a while….
It’s like a box every 6-7 seconds or so
OP is on console I think and we can’t do that there. We have to hold down a button until the box opens, release that button, then hold it down again for the next box. If we don’t release, it never goes to the next box.
Oo ya that sucks. I had an account I only played on a controller with for a while and opening lootboxes with it was rly tedious 
Yeah, was a pain, exactly why I just stopped opening them after a while and they piled up. Good thing Blizz is gonna do the dirty work for us.
Either wait for October 4 and it’ll do it for you, or put a weight on your space bar and walk away.
It took me a bit over an hour and a half to open just shy of 1000 lootboxes that way.
Congrats OW team for making it through the entire games life without making that “open all” button.
They did though, it’s called OW2 and it’s technically the same game.
put a rock on your spacebar with the lootbox UI open when you go to bed
or just wait, as trilly said, ow2’s live update will open all of them for you

I mean does it really take that long to open a loot box i do it whilst it is finding games so didnt OP, I kind of feel that other peoples laziness shouldn’t be directed as a Blizzard problem whether we should have had a open all button or not
I always disliked people asking for a fix when the problem was self-inflicted.
So yeah… kinda same.
But hey… everyone wins now… sorta.
I’m on PS4😩 but like others have mentioned, I guess I’ll just wait until OW2

You have to hold button down and let go and then re hold it down on console. You cant just straight hold it down
