DX12 bugs/suggestions

Bugs:

  • POTG name animation just keeps growing
  • Hero select screen hero is invisible/loading infinitely?
  • Heroes shortly after switching are orbs

Suggestions:

  • Fullscreen mode
  • AMD Anti-Lag 2
  • [NVIDIA Reflex 2?]
  • Main menu FPS limit raised to 120/customisable

Amazing suggestions, especially Anti-Lag 2.

Also getting stuttering in game with RX 6950 XT

Same on my 7900XT. I’m going to try a “minimal” driver install to see if it helps with anything with DX12 stutters in OW. I already have all the overlays and keybinds, metrics, etc disabled so they don’t interact with the game, but maybe there is something affecting it still.

Do you get the same amount of stutter on a second play-through of a map once the drivers have cached all the shaders?

Yeah I do, it’s very inconsistent. I actually have start-up shader compilation every time I launch the game on DX11 but not DX12

yes. It does not get better. I played 15 minutes of warmup and then 2 comp games

DX12 really feels much better, but the stutters keep me from using it man. I wish they pushed daily updates to improve stability. A game that pushed daily small updates and listened the community would be my dream
