D.VA's boosters; best boop in the game. Thoughts?

A rager in my game had brought this up and it actually got me thinking. Her boosters are kind of the best boop in the game right now.

In what way? The boop effect from them is one of the weaker ones.

Just a moment in the game. Playing busan meka, lucio got booped off from the point off the map. I dunno what to make of it.

Sounds like a bad Lucio. Lucio’s own boop is pretty much the best one. Like, objectively. Boosters having a three second cooldown doesn’t automatically make it BiS. Especially when Soundwave has like a 4 second cooldown.

It’s a high risk and weak boop. Lucio or Brig have better single boops, and nothing compares to a proper primal juggle.

Lucio and Ashe are the best imo. Ashe fun to get that air to get some hits and Lucio on Nepal nothing like wallgrind quick boost then boob off the objective outta nowhere!

To be clear I HATE with all of my heart the boop knockback change one of the worst changes of all time in my book. D.va didn’t get really changed by the boop buff which I am kind of glad for. I wish more heroes didn’t get effected by it tbh

Being knocked back in boosters is such garbage and “heehee now Lucio speed boost work on boosters” isn’t at all a fair trade off.

Mei is the worst when you want to fly away. That’s another big advantage of Winston’s jump.

I’ve actually converted from the Hamster army to the Winston core, so that’s one less rodent for you to worry about.

Btw, I think its kinda neat that all dive tanks boop.

Whipshot is best boop though.

My hatred of the boop change stems alot from playing other heroes more (dps/supports) tbh. I don’t like what it does to any charcter tbh let alone very specific interactions. Hell even when I am playing a boop charcter I am not a fan of it (Lucio, Hammond, Brig).
