I feel sorry for the streamer in that he hates playing his favourite hero at the moment, but gameplay-wise it doesn’t look that terrible to me? Certainly better than double barrier.

D.Va Sigma is a okay comp, C tier.
Because Sigma and D.Va’s abilities overlap each other.
When protections are nerfed to the ground what else can you play…
Tanks that do damage, and matrix that wasn’t nerfed.
Sigma-D.va is just the best composition in term of survive ability against mostly anything.
If this game becomes a death match, expect death match heroes to show much more.

Lmao, look at the trash state of this game. It looked like I was watching team deathmatch except with stupid amounts of poke damage.
I would say the synergy itself is B tier. You can just wait for sigma to use grasp if you’re worried about abilities overlapping otherwise focus your matrix away from him, and you don’t even need to play close to him anyways.
Apart from that they aren’t decent together.
Right now though they’re the best tanks in the game, so I’d say sigma d.va is like A tier rn.
Its a fun comp. Although I might just be saying that because it’s so relieving when your DM or grasp is on cooldown there’s someone else to eat the Blizzard or Grav.
Depends on who you have as dps and support it can easily be higher.
Tried it with Mei and 76 as dps so they couldn’t dive Sigma easily (plus ice wall gave extra protection) and we had more sustain.
But Echo, Hanzo, Tracer, Cassidy etc are better at helping you burst down targets.

When is Rein a mandatory pick across all ranks? He is never. This is his best map (aside from maybe lijiang) and he’s not very good anywhere else, and he gets his niche taken by stupid pokey heroes. We’ve been in this awful state for the past year now, it’s time to change it.
If you wanna realize how bad this is… this is like junkrat being meta on havana.

Meanwhile, I have to suffer through Rein jail since I am in lower ranks. Srsly. It’s awful. So sick of seeing hammer man on the enemy team and pretty much knowing that we’re probably going to lose.
The thing is… does him being picked mean he’s really mandatory? As in there is no way to counter him?
I’m sure if your team went a really spammy comp like sigma echo bap, you would literally destroy him.
D.Va/Sigma is super fun to play, and if a meta forms around it which takes Rein out of the limelight for once, I’m all for it.

I don’t understand why people want hard metas where you can’t do something wacky like sigma/dva. I hate every single “traditional” comp. Not a single one of them is fun. Give me sigma/dva, hog/dva, and zarya/dva all day, every day. Those are comps that don’t shut you down and prevent you from playing like doubleshield does. When doubleofftank is playable, the game is in its funnest state, and I will miss those quirky combos way more than the traditional combos which are so boring I will be happy when they get deleted with 5v5.
The comps I will miss most, the only tank comps I will miss, are doubleofftank comps. Especially Zarya/Dva but everyone hates it so I very rarely am able to convince the Zarya to stay Zarya lol.

Burst damage is out of control. Has been for years, really, but it’s gotten really bad in the last 12-18 months.
Nah I’ve been there lol. In low ranks, those heroes are significantly weaker without some form of co-ordination.
Srsly. I have to watch in the back as our Siggy and his mighty steed get ripped to shreds by the angry german man.

Sigma DVA would sound a lot better for some people than Ball or Hog in their matches. Common ground tank combo

Zarya D.va is a love hate relationship for me, I lose a lot more games playing it, but man call mech grav combos are funny 
Too bad I don’t have a choice either way because like 7 of the people I commonly group with are d.va players

he was only able to win once he mirror matched them
I will admit their are times tank players need to play rein because there team is to stupid
to walk away from rein so they have to babysit their team counter pinning and swinging only on rein alone
I reading this to me Is little different to someone telling me bacon is disgusting and
sardine ice cream is the bomb and should be eaten for breakfast
in other words I love rein dva, rein zarya,winston dva, winston zarya,
orisa rein, double shield is lame sure I’ll give you that but I enjoy these comps and prefer that to this mess
