Its way too easy for DVA to just charge a DPS or Support, melt them, and get away scott free. Also Defense matrix needs a far longer CD.

If you have no way to escape D.va then play with your team at range or somewhere close to your team.

They’re not contradictory, they’re both valid options against D.Va that have been known about since OW1’s launch. It’s not a case of “one or the other”, D.Va has always struggled against poke and beams have always ignored her main mitigation ability.

Missiles ain’t the problem, although buffing the DMG was a bizarre choice.
The problem, which I was surprised didn’t get nerfed in the hotfix, is defense matrix.
The fact that Dva can dm a lot of the rosters full clip is silly. Especially if ya gonna go after Lucio’s boop doing too much.
But being able to hold DM through Mauga’s clip ain’t? Though I don’t feel sorry for Mauga, but still. All I ever wanted was her old DM range back.
Regular barriers do all that and more.
In what world is your movement and positioning so bad that dva is killing you with just rockets? I don’t even think that would work in bronze 5.

You didn’t have to do him like this

Try moving around a little bit instead of just standing still in one spot while Dva fires missiles directly into your face. Because, given the scenario you’ve provided, that’s the only way that can happen. Also, try not to be soloing her and at half health at the same time.
