Honestly at this point I don’t expect much from OW lore. But if they do a relationship expect it to be pushing some kind of agenda. People can’t just like each other any more in video games and movies. They have to hit as many of the political check boxes as possible to make their Relationship Twitter approved.

That’s weird. I mean D.Va is my waifu and I have a body pillow with her on it but I wouldn’t care if she got a boyfriend in lore.
If they want to adhere to the realism of SK pop culture, she’ll probably stay single. If she does get a significant other, then there should be, if they’re trying to be realist to that society, a full blown media coverage that would essentially treat it like a scandal.
Basically, teen pop idols are supposed to be the ultimate fantasy girlfriend. Always a “virgin” and single. It’s why so many girls on the internet claim to be single on twitch and the like even if their married.

Why does she need a datemate?
I think it’s really weird that Rein has no relationship and no kids. The closest thing he has is Brigitte, his friend’s daughter, basically his niece. Junkrat irradiated his brain at some point, and Hog has, I think, basically given up on life.

Honestly a human fighter is actually the least common PC player I have ever played with in years of the game.
Edit: But that’s what you get when people try to “rebel” against normality. Every one rebels together and joins the same anti conformity group.

Well first it’s not really gone any where but being merely “hinted at”. And he’s not really a human male any more is he? It’s more of a Human/robot relationship which is progressive enough for twitter I am sure.
