They make the perfect season theme for d.va, they have concept art for a great d.va skin in that theme, they make the mythic for d.va, and… it’s somehow the 6th mythology themed mythic instead. Like what???

The skin design is weird but to me her guns pop. That is what I will see 95% of the time until I say NERF THIS

I mean, at least the mythology fits the character with the Siberian Tiger being the national animal of South Korea.
It could be worse, like giving a Hispanic guy from L.A. an Egyptian mythology skin.

It is a bit disappointing however after seeing the trailer, her Mythic looks Awesome! totally fits her.
I just wish she had more of a green domiant level. The red-green one is Ok but I want like a Nano Cola version.

Yeah they need to try different themes.
Even a fast-food-based skin can be mythic.
What makes skins mythic is the level of detail, VFX and customization.
For whatever reason most of the mythic skins are otherworldly.

Myths are often based on celestial beings and creatures, such as animals representing star constellations and Thor and the Phoenix, just to name a random few.
Just because you dont like it doesn’t mean pthers wont. Im glad she didn’t get a video-game theme. I don’t think any of them look good. It’s redundant. Overwatch is already a video game. As someone who grew up with blocky games, I don’t ever want to see that style emulated with modern graphics. It’s unappealing.

Yeah but my idea is that the highest tier skin shouldn’t be limited to supernatural stuff.
The main selling point of mythic skins is the level of detail, amount of VFX and the degree of customization.
But the theme itself could be anything.

Honestly, the idea of the Reinhardt skin is cooler than the execution. You expect some Ghosts and Goblins and instead you get… Sandy Claws.

She still doesn’t have a StarCraft skin, but does in Heroes of the Storm. Make it make sense.
Which is another skin D.Va should’ve gotten instead. Dress her up in a witch costume and make Tokki a walking bathtub. She already wishes her cohorts weren’t so dumb…

And they haven´t split the pilot from the mecha! I would have been nice to have one color scheme for tokki and one for pilot.
