Whoa there, hold your horses, since when Rein’s ult has a fast cast? It’s among one of the slowest in the entire game.

That has already been fixed and it was related to latency issues with the Brig player, not Rein’s ult.

Maybe because it’s a damn shockwave? And btw most of the time people that are over the payload will NOT get hit by Shatter.

Oh and btw Rein IS unique in the game, he’s the only real frontline shield tank.

Zarya’s bubbles said hi. The only real difference is that DM is proactive while the bubble is reactive.

Positioning counters shatter.
Zarya bubble infront of allies counters shatter.
CC counters shatter.

He’s a must pick due the fact that he has so much synergy with a lot of heroes. Zarya mainly and with brig ‘currently’ being strong, making him more of a must-pick. Just because someone becomes meta; doesn’t mean that said hero should be nerfed because other heroes make him more powerful. This forum is just filled with brain dead nubs.

Wich for the most part means KotH and that makes Roadhog almost mandatory, but D’va can work as well.

Do you even play Rein? His M1 has a very simple, yet annoying as hell bug that can be called “ghost hits”: everything from visual to sound effects will play out but your target will NOT lose a single point of HP. This bug got partially fixed over time, but still happens often enough to be annoying.

Orisa really could use 100 more health and a stronger shield. 400 is nothing for how big she is with her big Crit box. Also 900 is to low for her shield. It’s incredibly easy to burst down as a team the second it drops and she becomes a free kill. I would rather see orisa buffs instead of rein nerfs

I only find Orisa useful on 2CP and hybrid maps with tight chokes. She needs a team that can stand their ground behind her. For any other map or comp Rein is better. Well, except for mobile Dive comps where Winston is better.

Orisa’s shield is fine. Her problem is outside of it her kit is very weak. Even worse is that the shield doesn’t really make her other elements better. She’s too big and slow. A stationary shield doens’t help that. It might if she had better or more consistent damage. Her CC is pathetic to boot.

The attack or defend thing you can use any main tank effectively.
Dive only Winston/Hammond can work. Rein won’t work in dive.
GOATS, yep Rein is by far the best there, although Winston can have a place.
Orisa is way better for pirate ship, Rein can just be a supplement.

Her damage and cc are fine. She’s a tank. But her shield is absolutely worthless as times with how easy it’s bursted down in 1-2 seconds and then you are stuck forever without it. I’d focused she’s completely unable to do her job at all where rein still can. She’s a liability in too many cases over rein because she gets overwhelmed with damage so easily

Reinhardt is the only tank, that can move his shield.
Also Rein is not OP!
His viability has a lot to do with Brigitte, Ana and burst-healing.

He synergizes very good with Ana and Brig.
And Reinhardt is one of the best heroes to 1 vs 1 a Brig.
He is also still a very good target to nano.

Reinhardt is so good and viable, because of the supports.
I don’t say nerf supports, but this is fact.

Reaper for example was once viable, because of Nanoboost with speedboost.
But it was not Reaper himself being good, it was the combination of two heroes.
With Reinhardt it’s basically the same.

not overpowered in the fact that she cant be dealt with. but she is the most versatile off tank. you can use her as dps tank, defensive tank, dive tank. she can do everything. so she will never be a bad pick
