Very addicted to playing her. Surely. I love the character and it’s design, but she’s just on the weak side it seems. She’s not the worst character by any means, but people are just more easily countering her lately and yet I am very addicted to playing her. Doesn’t anyone here feel like she needs at least a very slight increase to Defense Matrix (maybe 0.5 seconds) and maybe 1 more damage per Pellet?

The best buff she could get right now, if only one, would be to increase Defense Matrix’s range to 12 meters. In it’s current state, DM cannot consistently peel, which is what it’s meant to do. Add on the bugs, and it’s worse.
If you want to go further, you can make her health pool 300/300. But I think some people may say it’s too much.

Yeah man I really wanna be able to play my favorite character without people saying “Don’t go D.va she sucks right now” or “Are you sure you wanna do that? Come on man get Zarya”.

Yeah, it must stink being a fan of the character who’s been meta for like 3/4th of the game’s lifespan. My heart breaks for the abuse you must face.
I joke, but as a Sombra main, it’s a pretty ironic complaint to hear from Dva.
I think she just needs more matrix range so she can peel better. Then she’ll be good, IMO.
I’ve been starting to enjoy playing d.va only lately and i can agree she does feel kinda weak honestly.

She just needs DM secret width nerf reverted, and 1 more meter on length. Shrink hitbox to match glass front more.
0.5 dm would be too much.

The reason DM was nerfed un the first place wasn’t because of peeling potential, it was because how oppressively it made you diveable.
imagine playing ana you cant sleep, nade, shot, basically a canon fodder, imagine playing bap, moira, the only heros that didnt suffer were mercy and brig, and that felt awful to play against and quite helpless, and the game is in a good place if brig nerf goes thro.

No. D.va is a high skill hero and we should not buff her just because most people suck at her.

Ana was hard meta pretty much half the time D.Va was at the top of the tank charts. The only time she wasn’t was when Mercy was OP.
D.Va didn’t keep heroes out of play. Even when she had 4s, 15m DM. Hell, Moira only loses one ability, which is hardly a lot of power in her case (mostly the Damage Orb, the Healing Orb wouldn’t get eaten).
Even Masters/GMs suck at ther it seems…

She is doing better than rein and Orisa in GM. Also she has one of the highest pickrates in pro play.

Orisa is better in GM now.
And pro play is irrelevant, there’s no OWL at the moment, and won’t be for a few months. Contenders doesn’t even have stats.

Orisa and reinhardt are both worse than D.va in GM. You should check up on overbuff again.
Pro play isn’t irrelevant because they played a lot of d.va in the grand finals too. She also hasn’t received any changes since OWL ended so it is relevant.

Well old dive was brain dead, winston jumps in and d.va pockets him with DM and … profit, they want to eliminate that abuseable playstyle.

Also, Reinhardt happens to be the second most played tank overall, by a big margin, so he’s clearly not “bad.”
The meta in the Grand Finals was almost exclusively Roadhog/Sigma.
That “abuseable playstyle” has counters, even more so now than 3 years ago.
Nerfing DM doesn’t remove it, Winston diving and being covered by something still exists: it’s the core of Winston/Zarya, which was meta in GM a few months ago, and a big red flag on D.Va’s status.

I have a buff for D.va.
Give her the ability to crouch in her MEKA.
For serious though I don’t play the character but she seems super weak, whenever I saw a D.va before I was like “Oh no, a D.va!” now it’s “Oh no, a D.va.”

It’s kinda obvious that they don’t want to revert DM, but what is taking them so long to turn her into a fat and durable Duelist/Assassin again?
Just revert her damage nerfs and give her 300 Armor back.
Every single part of her kit either got nerfed into the ground or got continuously less useful because of more and more counterplay being added to the game.
I see lot’s a dva’s facetanking frontline in my rank. Builds healer ults fast, but that’s not what dva is for.
Having both her and zenny in every single quick play match gets grating and annoying very quickly.
