Well, she’s unusually accomplished. Multiple movies, video game champ, mech pilot, etc. At the point where you have that at 18, you’re either disciplined or insane.

In a way, I might even say the only point someone makes adulthood is when they need to care for another living being for years and don’t do a half-***'d job at it.
I’d be game if it was culturally tied to her. (Though I believe a traditional Korean wedding something similar to her chinese new year skin is worn? I’m unsure if it’s common place to have weddings similar to western weddings but it’d be cool to learn about!)

Not in my experience but my experience doesn’t need to mean jack s**t to you. At all. Take it for what it is, just some random opinion.
Everybody is entitled to their own point of view on every aspect of human life. Human life is diverse and whatever works or holds true for one human might be completely useless or false for another.
Just my own very subjective opinion on the matter of marriage. I respect your opinion of course.

Well, on this point I’d have to disagree. The definition of politics is “competition for scarce resources,” and government – which decides things on our behalf – has been the cause for most strife and violence in human history. Sadly, in most things we are not free to do what we like. Law decides that, and politics decides law.
Let’s not go down that rabbit hole though, I personally want a break from that crazy stuff.
Torb has a traditional family of a wife that makes him dress as Santa and a daughter that stopped being a tire mechanic to club bad guys with a large mace. That, and he sent that turret to college.
