d.va has become too strong since the last buffs and as a result she often gets her ult and that’s why it’s frustrating.

i think they should tack a second onto the boosters cooldown so that you have a better chance at getting away from her and so that nabbing her out of flight is a little more impactful.

This is quite a take on Dva given how many posts we’ve had here over the last 2 months complaining about Zarya+Sym hard countering her.

D.Va is pretty mediocre and has an ult you can usually just walk away from. She doesn’t have a positive WR until GM and is more likely a candidate for buffs than nerfs I imagine.

She is strong as a character, her numbers are good across the board and defense matrix is one of the best abilities in the game. The reason she has a negative winrate until GM is that none of that matters when zarya has the ability to counter every abilities in your kit from micro missiles to self destruct. If zarya wasn’t as strong as she is D.va would probably see mote play time

You could very well be right. Subjectively, I think D.Va feels pretty solid (strong but not OP or unfair)…until the beam queens come out on the enemy team and ruin her time.
Recent buff made dva more viable, until other team switches to the much more meta zarya, then dva is worthless.

My first piece of advice for these people is to – not – stop what they are doing and watch it go down slack-jawed.
shes not powerful at all, when i see a dva I know its free game I can just farm my ult on her for the whole game

Both can be true. Thats how you balance a game like ow. A flying armored tank with a death combo that can eat 90% of damage and healing abilities is strong. She is balanced by you having the option of swapping to beam heroes to deny her value. But dva mains dont like hearing this

I love seeing a Dva on the other team -she is super easy to counter most times. Zarya still wrecks her and Doom can use her as a punching bag. Shes also the easiest target to hit in the game. You must be new to the game if youre consistently dieing to her ult.
