For anyone who wants this skin… you’re not getting it. From the website for Gentle Monster, these glasses are only going to be distributed to the winners of a cringey social media video filter challenge:
“Winners will receive a special edition package that contains collaboration eyewear as well as redemption codes for limited edition in-game skins. Join the challenge now!”
Guess I’m going to have to give up on my “collect everything for D.va” dreams.
The funny thing is that there’s not only 1 recolor, there’s 2 recolors of the skin. If you go to the hero gallery you will see the pink version called “Gentle Tokki Fuchsia” and the blue/silver version called “Gentle Tokki Aqua”
This probably means that not only do Blizzard sell the pink version for 1900 coins, but they also sell the blue/silver one separately instead of as a second style lol.
The Pink version of the skin “Gentle Tokki Fuchsia” that’s available for purchase now in the shop and hero gallery also says it’s a “Limited Time cosmetic”.
We currently don’t know if the Aqua version will be available in the shop in the future but I think so. You can already preview the Aqua version in the hero gallery and it says on it “sometimes available in the shop”.
Limited time shop cosmetics don’t mean that they will never return, but it usually takes longer time for them to return if it hasn’t been that profitable. Fortnite also sometimes say their Marvel stuff are available for a limited time but they come back in the future.

Just watched BYW’s YT video about THE rarest OW skin. It turned out to be Gentle Tokki Aqua. Only 300 people have this skin, these people are celebs and OW content creators. Not sure if the skin will be in the shop or not as in the description of the skin it says that it will. It’s frustrating to see content creators only get the chance to get the skin. But maybe it’ll come around

I just watched it too, while it is rare, it is a recolor of the first EDM Dva Skin, as someone said it is lazy game design to do a recolor of the skin rather than a brand new skin design.
But hey that means people will be requesting this skin along with some other rare skins that have yet to make their appearance in OW2
OW2 categories for skins are so confusing and doesn’t always seem to mean anything anymore.
Back in OW1 skins were catergorized after how you could earn them. Now since OW2, skins that shouldn’t have the description “sometimes available in store” do. It’s really hard to know what skins are limited time only and which ones are not because it doesn’t say on most skins.
Fortnite and Valorant (even OW1 most of the time) are really clear with communicating what skins will not be available in the future because they have text under those cosmetics clearly saying that they will not be available in the future. The text also clearly states which dates the skins will be available between.
I agree.
Us normal people only have a chance through an Instagram giveaway to get to the glasses (and the cosmetics it comes with)…
