Why not allow Dva to fly backwards?

It would be a nice buff.

You will just expose your hitbox more you tincans.
Just turn around and fly it’s already a chore healing you all.

press the shift key, hold the S button and automatically move backwards and sideways without turning my back on the enemy.

It would be a small buff for Dva.

I mean im not against it I just feel like you’d have no clue where you are going because you dont have eyes on the back of your head

I mean, you can say the same thing about just holding backwards. It’s just a movement tool that you use when appropriate.

Sure but again, use when appropriate. Much in the same way that people dont spawn, turn around, and walk to the point backwards. You’d use backwards boost when it’s appropriate to do so and you know what’s behind you. I dont think the expectation of this idea is that you’re navigating through hallways and stuff backwards. That doesn’t really make any sense.

Reminds me of what she did in the short of her, flying in multiple directions was really cool, would be pretty cool for her in game.

It wouldn’t be the same thing… With this new mobility, you can shoot while moving, making it effective in various situations, especially against lasers.

D.Va would become more effective and fun if…

  • She could fly backward.
  • She could fly sideways.

Having more control over the character would make it more enjoyable to play, and it would undoubtedly be a quality-of-life buff for D.Va. Adding the ability to fly backward and sideways would enhance the overall gameplay experience and make the hero feel more versatile and engaging in various situations.
