They aren’t even new. Having 400 armor health and 200 base health was how she was before they destroyed her. 4 seconds of DM is how she used to be.
Her changes are just reverts. Ones that would help her a lot in 2/2/2 (boosters buff would need to go away)
DVa is fun for me again. Solo ranking isn’t an issue with her for me anyways. Certain DPS lineups that wreck her are still a thing tho but if not you should dominate.

Basically old D.Va with most of her later buffs. Predictable changes. Would be op as hell in 222 but in 132 she’s not so great tbh. I hope 132 never hits live.
So incredibly underpowered for this mode? Not surprised.
All offtanks are fun but i have yet to see them in an actual setting where people try to win a game like its comp. I think all offtanks will still have serious problems and get melted a well timed shield where people get picks be it winston/orisa or rein will still trump all the “offtanks”. That said i do enjoy the mode just hope it does not replace current comp.

She was nerfed from this state because she was too powerful in the first place.
So yes- they’re reverting her to a stronger form for solo tanking (while giving her new buffs, and maintaining other buffs. She’ll be stronger than she was before this “revert”)
I think the problem is that those changes would be good in 2-2-2, but clearly aren’t enough in 1-3-2.
That is, unless they massively nerf damage.
I still think the reverts make her one of the top tanks now, easily. The movement speed while firing is being slept on.

Just get rid of rockets. She NEVER needed them to begin with.
“Just”? This is I think the most powerful version of literally every aspect of her kit except boop damage. 400 armor and max power defense matrix is absolutely insane. She would be functionally invincible if you could have a 2nd tank with these stats. The defense matrix and booster cooldowns alone make her insane, nevermind the armor.
Obviously it remains to be seen if this is enough to be the solo tank. It’s really a whole new ball-game; you have less front-line support but so does the enemy team.
I haven’t had many issues tbh
For the record, she had both in S3 and was the third best tank. On 5. She also had DM on a 1s cooldown.
And there was a lot less damage flying.
she’s meta in 222. she doesn’t need buffs in that mode…
The big problem is she’s useless in 1-3-2. Widow just annihilates in that mode against Zarya/Hog and even Dva. You’d expect Dva to be a counter for her like she is on live, but the problem is she’s the only tank, so she has to make space for her team, can’t be worried about widow. What if you counter widow? Well, if they have a barrier tank with a widow you don’t get to play the game.
Boring.
