not sure if this is the right place for it, however, for the past week-two, i literally keep getting a bunch of duplicates, i have gotten about 4+ loot boxes that were duplicates all 4 items in it. is it this some issue with my game or account? does anyone have this problem? it seems weird to me its happening considering it has never happened to me before after that update that decreased duplicates

I’ve been averaging a minimum if 1 duplicate oer lootbox since the new year event ended so you’re not alone.
same prob here opened 2 boxes today with 4 duplicates and a few yesterday with 3/4 duplicates only started happening after new year event ended
Is it possible you have all the whites and blues?
Loot boxes roll rarity first, then decide an item, so having all the whites/blues is going to give you duplicates instead of forcing higher rarity items to drop.

I started getting all dupes around 4 stars iirc. It happens at some point when you get all the lower tier items. It’s less fun when you open boxes but (1) events get more exciting and (2) all dupes are currency towards any hero item you want

Most people start experiencing duplicates around level 300-400 because of this. The benefit from it is that you start building up currency to buy what you desire from events. Also, buying lootboxes causes this to start occurring earlier, at lower levels.
You only get duplicates if you own all items of that rariety.
I get blue duplicates now. I bought 25 lootboxes at christmas with some money, and I play a lot of arcade, so most people will start getting lootboxes at around level 330
Yes. And when you hit the wall on items, it feels VERY sudden. You’ll go from almost no duplicates to almost all duplicates in a day. It’s also most common to occur right at the end of an event (when the item pool shrinks back to non-event size).
OP, if you check your items you will almost certainly find that you have all non-event-locked whites and blues.

I’m getting a lot of duplicates, but it’s because I have almost all common items. Gives me gold for the next event though, so I like it.
I bet you dont have “almost” all - you have all.
I havent received a singe duplicate until i got all items of that rariety at least. Now i usually get 30 coins per box(3 white 1 blue)
Just to clarify, duplicates will happen when you collect all possible Normal (white) and Blue (rare) items for all items that is currently available in the current loot box distribution. Right now there are no seasonal events running, as such if you are missing any of items of the lower rarites from specific seasonal events, you will be seeing duplicates.
For example I myself, and still missing 3 possible to collect player icons, (2 from Uprising, 1 from the Anniversary event). Otherwise I have everything that can be obtained from a Loot Box at this time.
