I’m pretty sure they patched out the ability to get duplicates from lootboxes, but i just got one. Is there a way to replace the dupe with something i don’t have?
They never patched out the ability to get duplicates, they only lowered it. When you have most of the common (white) and uncommon (blue) items, you tend to get a lot of duplicates, as you already have most of the more common items in OW.
Wrong
As soon as you get all items in a rarity tier, you will get a duplicate whenever you get an item from this rarity tier. If you completed the common tier, you won’t automatically stop getting common items.
Most people will complete common and rare tiers first, so they will keep getting non duplicates only from epic and legendary.
