was playing marvel rivals …I am amazed how they managed to put so many melee characters like iron fist,wolverine,black panther ,spiderman etc
I know overwatch is a shooter but a semi melee dps with high mobility can fit in this game .
A dual sword Character with a great lore who can be the leader of Hashimoto Clan will be a great addition .
He can be a samurai with high mobility and will be able to go in ,kill and easily get out by shift, can block incoming damage holding 2 sword crosswise , and can also throw range projectile as an ability.
We can also get an animated short showing how genji ,kiriko r fighting against the hashimoto clan and a boss battle between genji and this leader of hashimoto clan.
I feel in this current situation overwatch needs variety and I feel this character will be a perfect addition now.
A melee type of hero could be fun. No auto-targeting trash though.
I mean melee is basically autotargeting. It covers your whole front view.
To OP. I would legit play them uf they were anything as cool as magik.

ya kind of like Magik but carrying dual Sword….with his high mobility he can go in do a kill combo and get out again with Shift
If melee heroes in MR (and also melee heores in OW) show anything, is that they’re just pain to balance.
would be fun to have them be a vampire clan secretly.
If they ever added in a melee hashimoto i bet they will only do it as tank. Ive heard others before mention Moma hong but instead of a sword they said a frying pan or something like that. I cant imagine them adding in 2 chars from that side story but I am huge fan of Magik and would love someone similar to her in ow for sure
