Dropped from diamond 2 to plat1

Hi I played in competitive on Tank roll. I won 5 and lost 3 games. I went down 4 divisions from diamond 2 to plat 1,which doesn’t make sense to me at all. Has this happened to other people? What can I do in such a case?

This just happened to me, bruh - I’m about to riot

Was Diamond 3, then suddenly, it updated from Plat 3 to Plat 1. I don’t understand dude.

Yep mine just went from gold 4 to silver 1. Not a big drop and i was pretty sure i was gonna drop (bad streak of losses, was punching above my weight). However, when it re-ranked me. It showed as going from silver 4 to silver 1. Not sure if its a visual glitch or the game just confusing what rank you actually are.

same issue…platinum 3 to gold 2…but the cinematic show gold 3 to gold 2, not show platinum 3 to gold 2. please review this.

This just happened to me went from Diamond 2 to Plat 1 after going 5-4

I have played with a friend in a row of roles in competitive, both in support role, they raise his rank and I am lowered to silver 5, even though we play the same games, we have the same wins and losses, not to mention I always heal more than him and I take many more kills than rl since he doesn’t do any, does anyone know what it is?

Same here bro, literally 5 times ive ranked up from Silver 3 and it just launches me back to bronze most times recently only sent me back to silver 4, it seems every time i reach silver 3/4 i get sent back and this is happening to me on ps4

Assuming your win-loss ratio is positive, you might be experiencing the bug in which during a rerank, your initial rank is demoted five subdivisions before the adjustment takes place. If you can, could you record your bugged rank adjustment, making sure that at some point in the video it shows your pre-adjustment rank, either from the queue menu or the career profile, and link that video to the thread? Any help in spreading the word about this megathread would be greatly appreciated.
