It looks like a 3rd party mod when you see it on the character selection screen and scoreboard. Looks even worse when you have players with different language names.
It stands out way too much in the overall mainly blue UI, for something that’s barely important. (play a lot during end of season)
It looks like it doesn’t belong in the OW world. I thought “Jade” guns were bad but good god… There is a reason why the flame on your profile when you are “on fire” is blue and not red. Whatever happened to branding, polish and art direction?
OW1 did it way better by showing off flair while still conforming to the art of the game (gold guns, metals and diamond profile borders). Flashy but not an eyesore.
