Won a couple of games where the drive points are not going up by x10 the rank progress, but rather on a smaller multiplier. Losses seem to decrease points by more than x3 too.

I came to post this too. It seems the max points it will give is 300 regardless of how much rank progress you got.
Also, when you lose you are losing 5x the amount of rank progress (like the first season of drives) rather than the 3x loss it says in game.
