If you do things like factoring average accuracies and like the above Widowmaker poster did and consider various other elements, TTK is going to be about par for most Damage and Supports, if not quite 1:1, it would be very close.
In one way, Lucio’s damage critically hits for 160 damage, Genji critically hits for 168. Genji Swiftstrikes to eliminate the target, Lucio can RMB or Boop the target off the edge. It’s generally easier to Lucio to land a headshot than it is for Genji to do the same (or at least apply partial damage).
Similar situations exist. Ana, as others have mentioned, is particularly good at doing this.
what i know is, besides zen, baptise(if you hit 5 out of 6 burst shot into head), ana, and mercy can do around 1 second, others are around 1.5 or more than that. for e.g. moira is 2(with orb).
i actually didnt bother to calculate brig. as we all know her combo was able to kill a 150 hp tracer efficiently, now she cant even do that lol
but most dps besides symmetra and mei has lower than 1 second, some even close to .6 to ttk.
I am pretty sure mei has the lowest damage per second of any hero in the game, even with right clicks.
Maybe moira beam does less outright damage, but add the orb and she leaves mei in the dust.
Winston can leap punch to make up for his lower single target damage with his weapon. I know this was dps vs support, but mei does less dps than all heroes of all 3 roles.
In a 1v1? Id say Cree. But how many games are won or lost just by a Cree vs Mercy duel exactly? How does this affect the flow of the game or more importantly, why is Mercy dueling a Mcree by herself to begin with?
Sure they tend to take longer to kill a target thats fine. Supports offer other things that dps heroes dont. If they did more damage there would be no reason to pick a dps hero.
Also, they tend to have pretty good self sustain. Moira for example, lets look at her grasp. It does 50dps, which its low for sure. But it also heals her, doesnt need to reload and has the most generous hitbox of the whole game when we account for range. This meams that she is not only dealing 50dps to you, she is also negating a portion of all the damage you are dealimg to her every second. She is also free to dodge more aggressively since her aim wont be affected at all with her own movement.
To sit there and pretend 50dps is all she offers while 1v1 an enemy its dishonest. Yeah she may tske longer to kill you but she also inherently maked your time to kill her longer bc of her leech, fade, and orb.
that’s why i say this topic is about support vs damage ttk only lol those are not included in, as most of the time, support will be busy healing and dps will be doing damage as they do.

support thrive on dps making mistake alot, so im not calculating this in as different rank has different skill in different heroes. just like the mcree mercy e.g.
Typically yes, in perfect and ideal situations this has been true for a long time. The ease and application of it is where things get kinda fun and a little murky, but it leads to great scenic moments when it happens.
well, when you play in a rank where widow can headshot you twice before you land in front of her from a different angle as winston.
or when mcree just keep 2 or 3 clicking your moira’s head consistently.
