The dps role genuinely feels horrible to play with all the support power creep in the game immortality, suzu, life grip, healing pylons all of it needs to be toned down NOTHING dies in this fps game the only players having fun are trash mercy mains who play the game with 2 fingers it’s genuinely terrible healing needs nerfs. Or at least bring back speed buff after kill because that was genuinely needed

Why do people do this?
The game hasn’t been balanced around Open Queue for 5 years.
Different Roles aren’t on the same Tierlists. And they haven’t been for 5 years.

It’s quite the opposite, my friend.
Used to be the most popular in OW1, you can now see the queue time if you pick DPS, and draw your own conclusions.

DPS Kills per 10 min
Highest - Soilder at 20kills
Lowest - Widow at 14kills
Tanks kill per 10 min
Highest - DVA at 21 kills
Lowest - Rein at 16 kills
Supports kill per 10 mins
Highest - Moria at 19
Lowest - Mercy at 3
Something tells me things do die. Not sure what is telling me this information, but something makes be wanna believe it.

If only you and the op had the icon of some fun dps hero with consistent burst potential.
Alas, such a hero would never exist.
Although you don’t need the consistent burst potential of Echo to get kills. Every dps hero I play can get them with ease. There’s very few heroes who can’t tbh.

Tbh, they should lower overall defences, including heals.
But nerf Antinade impact on Tanks
And nerf AntiTank impact from Bastion Sentry and Hanzo Arrow+StormArrow.
And generally just make Sniper oneshots far more niche and map specific.
