DPS queue times WAY down?

Is it just me? Im getting games after minute and a half queue times for DPS even though the estimate is 8 minutes :eyes:

If you’re talking about QP, yes - even on Korean servers during prime time.

I noticed it too. I don’t have to wait very long in competitive or in quickplay if I want to play dps.

A while back Jeff talked about them trying some changes “under the hood” to improve queue times… Honestly I don’t understand how they could do that, considering it’s presumably a supply and demand issue. But I do recall months ago, before role queue, we went from having 1-2 minute waits to very consistent instant queues (even in competitive). So I guess maybe there was room for improvement?

I’ve noticed support tends to skyrocket in queue times too. :eyes:

I don’t know if they are down, but on the rare occasion I queued for dps my estimated wait time was 10 minutes.

I thought I’d have 5 minutes to run upstairs for a drink/smoke.

Nope… I hope my donated SR helped someone reach another run on the ladder grind… at least :frowning:

Mine shows 7 minutes on EU so I’m afraid to check. 5 days ago I gave up after 5 minutes.

I’m on the Australian/NZ server, and I’ve been getting really quick DPS queue times recently.

That being said, experimental is unplayable because I can’t get a game on support that doesn’t take less than 30 minutes to queue for.

QP has gone from 20 to 10 min for me, comp is still 20-35 minutes. I have open profile if want cheek my SR.

I got a 30 second queue… all the good karma in the world I got from tanking for my team is finally paying off.

I’ve gotten really fast DPS queues while duoing with my friend. 4 minutes max, but normally around 2.

I think it might be due to people leaving, or maybe they’ve actually done under the hood changes.

Under the hood… in the hood, by making grouping work as they said it would 9 months ago. Glad they finally got around to it.
