There is no reason a gold player, should have to wait over 10 minutes for a game.
Perhaps it is time to rework role queue with something more game engaging…
No one will want to play this at this rate.

Try quick play classic. Not perfect, but its fast.
Tanks are few, get nerfed and are boring to play. Blizz is amazing at creating DPS but horroble at creating and reworking tanks. So that is why only a few people play tanks and dps wait in line for a tank to reQ for his next match

You can get what you need done around the house ect and come back for when matches pop. It creates a good lifestyle balance imo and a solution to the long queue time for the time being.

That actually makes it the shortest wait time, ironically.
IT doesnt really, just because its most populated elo. I cant speak for diamond + but this elo had always longer times even before. When i am playing on bronze silver and plat i have definitely lower waiting times than in gold.
Might be a coincidence as, in general, the more players, the more tanks and that is typically where the bottleneck is. But perhaps that is not universally true across all regions.
Queue times are a result of player choice.
If you don’t want to wait 10+ minutes in a queue, then don’t queue for Damage only or queue with a group.
So your advice to never play dps role? Its not fair, why peopke who play all roles has to suffer because of people who are selfish?
I was always solo player but i truly started to think about maybe finding games in LFG in 6 stack groups, but its often pretty time consuming too.

That’s not what I said.
I don’t understand the logic of telling someone who wants to DPS in Competitive to either play QP or a different role. People want to play DPS and telling them to play a different role means they’ll do DPS with that role instead. Why you see tanks not tanking and healers not healing.

Role que (2-2-2) is great for game experience i can wait instead of playing 6 dps .
At Masters there is no long que times it takes 5-10 min for a match even echo release.
Just play tank and support like a DPS, same as everyone else
Do not get this whole stupid argument about being “selfish” people making it out to be this huge sacrifice to play some stupid tank. It is not. You play what you want. Blizzard are the only ones forcing these queues with game design.
