DPS Moira = reportable?

Lets say you play Moira but you have 10k damage and 2k healing. Bascially playing Moira behind the enemy team and flanking their supports. Very little outgoing healing overall, but most of it is for yourself with a little spray here and there.

Reportable?

Yes, reportable.

Cause your whole team suffered cause of it and if the results ended in a loss the moira is likely to be reported for throwing, refusing to heal or even griefing

Were you genuinely trying to win? Not reportable.* Even if you believe the strategy is suboptimal, as long as you’re trying to see if you can make it work.

Only reports should be for players really going out of their way to deliberately ruin their teammates’ fun.

  • I mean technically you can report anyone you like for anything you please, or even for no reason, but it doesn’t mean Blizzard will or should listen.

You can’t report someone for playing poorly, nor can you report someone for using the provided tools in a way you don’t agree with. The game already punishes them by lowering their mmr when they lose. If you’re better than they are, you eventually won’t see them.

If it was a agreed team strat no, like say you dove along with tracer while rest of team was poke heroes like sigma cass and ana.

In this situation especially after s9 buff it’s actually good if moira flanks with a flank dps than them going alone especially if enemy has bap illari.

But moira going alone doing tiktok dance show for enemies and showing trash dmg is useless.

How many solo kills and final blows do you have that way.

It’s always best to coordinate with team as moira whatever you are doing.

The other day in Rialto I was struggling to breakthrough enemy defence as tracer while rest of team was poke , mainly cause they had illaripylon stuck . Like i was getting picks but not fast enough.

Suddenly my moira dove in with me and in secs we wiped them out.

So it definitely helps for moira to dps hard when needed for team and to help

I went 11 and 7 with 9,800 damage and 2,600 healing. Everyone elseo n the team had 4 kills or less and some dps had 12 deaths lmfao.

the Moira’s action can be interpreted as griefing which is absolutely a reportable offense.

What were enemy support stats , your other support stats.

Numbers mean absolutely nothing.

I can do 3 k dmg and get 12 elim and make my team win.
Some games I have to dump dmg to win it varies.

Cause I’m doing a job like kill secure etc.

Dps is a nuanced role despite what people will say

So is support, so unless you give full picture like replay proper scoreboard and context it doesn’t matter what you did.

You and your team lost in the end doing this.

It was a fun game for me personally, lots of ana kills from the backline.

You do you whatever you want

People will report if they find you insufferable, see if you can walk a line were you don’t get reported and banned.

I think you’re correct, Griefing is mei ice wall team and killing yourself intentionally. i dont think playing a DPS moira is going to matter.

It requires intent to be actioned against. Playing dps Moira doesn’t automatically mean the player intends to spoil the fun for others. If they start doing it after something elevates the average blood pressure of the lobby, that might qualify. But again, intent is what you have to prove.

It requires reports to be actioned against nothing else.

If I don’t like you I report you

If you manage to be disliked by many and get many reports action is taken.

I personally almost always report dps focused supports. It’s incredibly annoying, a hinderance, and trollful. Exceptions would be if the healing really just wasn’t needed or something. DPS moiras/anas/baps whatever are directly giving a finger to their team when they do it otherwise, and oh yeah, I report it.

This means literally nothing. So many times people QQ about what the rest of their team is doing, but its likely it would be going a lot better if they’re properly supported. If you want to dps, then queue for it, instead of taking a utility slot away from the team to be a suboptimal dps while simultaenously punishing other people.

relax, its not that serious. Go try it out sometime, it’s a lot of fun and it teaches you how to run away/self survive as moira very skillfully.

I don’t need to finger the rest of my team to learn different ways to fade, lmao. Moira can absolutely be played aggressively. Her kit allows it. DPS supports? no. I do report it.

do the same as any other hero and it might be impressive. thats a nice RMB bot you do there

i wonder why. 11k dmg and 11 kills isn’t particularly much imho.

whats the enemy dps stats? less deaths more kills with a support?

Yeah I was trying to kill Ana that had a pocket mercy on her all game. I was soloing the mercy and ana all game. It was a lot of fun and i would have killed both of them if this was pre-nerf moira.

11 elimination with 9,8k damage is just straight up feeding enemy healers free ult charge. I always report dps healers but I never received a message that action got taken. So I guess it’s probably allowed eventhough you are accelerating your loss by doing so.
