Downloading patch on a different computer

Hello, I am on a metered connection and cannot download the 11/13 patch onto my desktop PC as I’ve heard it can reach 20 GB in size.

Can I take my laptop elsewhere to download the patch, then take it home and transfer it to my desktop PC?

If so, what files do I need to copy? I’m thinking just the Overwatch “program files” folder, but wanted to check with tech support to see if this would cause any problems.

They don’t have a standalone version of the patch available, as far as I know. It also checks against your currently installed files (or at least mine did), so it would probably need to be updated on the device you’re playing from.
