Double Paying for Premium BattlePass

A system should be in place to discount/refund you for things you own in shop bundles. I immediately bought the premium battlepass with my leftover coins when season 4 started. Then I saw the Ultimate BattlePass bundle and bought it for the cool skins. What I didn’t know was that the price for the bundle did not reflect the already purchased premium battlepass. I essentially paid twice for the premium battlepass. I raised a ticket to try and get back my 1000 premium coins but they said sales were final. I feel this is unfair to customers that are still on the fence about getting the bundle, hell I would have might not even purchased the bundle knowing that I am double paying for something I already have. I am sure that Blizzard wants people to buy things so that the games we love will get supported more, but at this rate, I feel that I am getting scammed/robbed.

It warns you about this. I still think its kind of dumb that the skins are locked behind the bundle, but it does literally tell you that you will be charged for the pass again.

I think, maybe, you could try to appeal their decision, but I don’t think you’re getting your money back.

Are you new to OW2? The “Ultimate Bundle” ($30), was also part of Season 3, and if I’m not mistaken, it didn’t discount the price ($30) of the bundle in the case you already had the BP.

The “Ultimate Bundle” ($30) it’s only worth it if you really, really want the exclusive skin for that Bundle (this season, the Legendary Soldier Skin Infinite Guard).
If you are not interested in that skin, but you want the D.Va Infinite Ace skin, it’s better for you to just buy the Starter Pack for $10, it comes with 1000 coins for the BP, and also the same skin for D.Va from Ultimate Bundle, and also the same weapon charm from the Ultimate Bundle; then just buy $20 / 2000 coins (you’ll actually get 200 more). So in the end, this way you also spend a total of $30, but you get 200 extra coins (after the purchase of the BP). (You don’t get the +20 levels of the Ultimate Bundle, but that level skip I don’t consider it to be very useful)

I get that there are ways to get a net positive of coins but it was more that I made the mistake of not checking the bundle before spending my coins on the premium track and they wanted me to pay for that mistake. I usually don’t buy the skin bundle since it didn’t usually interest me but this season’s skin was something I wanted. So I purchased the bundle but didn’t see that it would not take into account having the premium track already. I did ask Blizzard for a refund but they said all sales are final and then referred me to the forums to “ask for changes to the system”. I am just posting it here to let Blizzard know that this type of trap will make it harder for future customers to think about buying the bundle. The dilemma that was faced with was either 1) Don’t buy the bundle that I am interested in because I would waste 1000 coins, or 2) Buy the bundle and pay an additional price for something that I already have. Either way, Blizzard got my money now and didn’t care for a paying customer that made a simple mistake.
